Our Story
20 Years of Steel Excellence in Kuwait
Steel Design Center was founded in 2001 in Shuwaikh Industrial Area with a simple mission: to deliver fabricated steel that Kuwait's contractors could rely on. Starting with a small workshop and a team of 10, we grew project by project — earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and technical capability that now spans every sector of Kuwait's economy.
Today, SDC FAB operates from a fully equipped 5,000 m² facility with CNC laser cutting, press brakes, automated welding stations, and a dedicated stainless steel workshop. Our 50+ strong team includes structural engineers, certified welders, CAD designers, and experienced project managers — all working under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.
Steel Design Center established in Shuwaikh Industrial Area with a focus on structural steel fabrication for Kuwait's growing construction sector.
Invested in CNC plasma cutting and press brake equipment, doubling production capacity and entering the precision metalwork market.
Awarded first major government infrastructure contract — steel bridges and pedestrian walkways for the Ministry of Public Works.
Achieved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, formalising our commitment to consistent, documented quality control.
Launched dedicated stainless steel fabrication workshop and invested in fibre laser cutting technology for precision component production.
Achieved ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety certifications.
Completed our 500th project — a 1,100-tonne industrial compound in Jahra — marking two decades of growth across Kuwait's steel sector.
